Cash was born and raised in Avon Park Florida. He is a graduate of Avon Park High School with the class of 2012 and was a letterman on the baseball and golf teams. After high school Cash went on to further his education at South Florida Community College and The University of Florida, graduating with a degree in Food and Resource Economics with a specialization in Marketing and Management. Cash currently works in Sales for E.R. Jahna Industries covering the South Florida territory. Cash is very excited to be a part of the foundation and when asked about what the LC5 Foundation meant to him he said, “Lane was such a great friend and even better person. His selfless and fun loving personality were traits that we can only hope to replicate in our lives. By preserving and continuing the legacy he left behind while gaining the support of the community we can touch many lives just as he did with everyone he interacted with. I am excited to be a part of the journey and can’t wait to see the growth of this foundation.”

Ty Jackson

Vice Chairman

Ty graduated from Avon Park High school in 2011. He was a three-year letter-man in baseball and continued his baseball and education at South Florida State College. He then studied early childhood development and psychology at the University of Central Florida. He is currently employed as an outside sales representative for Water Werks Inc. When asked what Lane meant to him, he said “Lane was always part of my life from my earliest memories as a child. I was beyond blessed to be able to share the bond we had together for so many years. The way Lane loved, and treated others was so admirable and is something that I implement in my daily life. Lane embodied values that you just don’t see enough of on a daily basis. The LC5 foundation is a mirror image of what Lane stood for and wanted for himself and others. I am excited to work with Lanes loved ones, family, friends and community to continue Lanes legacy to help inspire and mold the youth of our community in a positive and humble manner.”

Mason Jahna

Fundraising

Mason graduated from Avon Park High school in 2014. He played varsity football and baseball all four years. He attended college at The University of Florida, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science. He is currently a student at Florida Southern College, attaining his Master’s to become a Family Nurse Practitioner and working at Lakeland Regional Hospital as a registered nurse. He is looking forward to working in Avon Park upon graduation in a local clinic. When asked what Lane meant to him, he said, “I knew lane as a friend and a baseball teammate. As a friend, he showed me how to live life to the fullest and love one another, and I used this kind of love while providing care to my patients. As a teammate, he taught me how to lead, have passion, and play HARD. His energy and enthusiasm for the game were transcendent. Every day I try to have half the passion he had in life.” Mason is excited to be a part of the LC5 foundation. He is looking forward to giving back to Jade Jackson’s childhood journey with cancer, investing in the youth of Avon Park, and developing a leadership program. The LC5 foundation is finishing what Lane started.

I am the oldest cousin out of 10 so I always got to watch Lane as he grew up in our family. He was so many things to so many people, but I would say he was my favorite fishing partner. I spent my summers working alongside Lane. We played baseball together, hunted together, fished together and did life together. His infectious personality and smile will be something that I never forget. Fly high #5.”

Mary Peck

Finance

Mary was born and raised in Avon Park, Florida. She graduated from Avon Park High School, class of 2017. After obtaining her AA degree, Mary moved to St. Augustine, Florida to attend Flagler College where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, and a Business Administration minor graduating with the class of 2020. Following graduation, Mary moved back home to Avon Park, completed her Masters in Accounting in Fall of 2021, and obtained her Certified Public Accountant license in the state of Florida in 2023. She currently works for LerroSarbey PLLC as a senior tax accountant. When asked what Lane and being a part of the LC5 foundation meant to her, she replied, “Lane has always been one of the biggest inspirations as my brother, especially now more than ever before. He pushed me to be the best version of myself in every aspect of my life, and that will forever guide my path. No matter what the circumstance, Lane prevailed, loved, learned, and was full of life. We are called not to be served, but to serve. Lane Crosson was a servant; he would give the shirt off his back to anyone regardless of the sacrifice it meant enduring. LC5 Foundation is here to continue this same service that Lane somehow mastered. I am honored to learn and grow personally through the role I hold, and to see the LC5 foundation do the same.”
